La Salle-Bacolod chorale wins gold in Thailand

There is just so much talent in the Philippines. Yet another proof of that is the victory of the University of St. La Salle (USLS) Chorale at the International Choir Festival Grand Prix in Thailand, where the group won a gold and 2 silver medals.
The group won the gold in the Folklore category, while it garnered the 2 silver medals in the Mix Choir and Spiritual/Jazz/Pop categories.
The Chorale bested choirs from 6 other countries.
After the group arrived in Negros Occidental from Pattaya, Thailand, USLS honored the Chorale for winning the coveted award.
The group is now busy preparing for yet another international competition to be held in Busan, South Korea next year.
